nah you cant be banned from using a leveling guide, but if you either pretend or actually speak the other factions language blizzard say it worry’s the new players.

“anyone been banned from translating horde to alliance?” If you mean translating language yes. The only way to do so is threw hacking. But if you mean change from horde to alliance then thats fine. Also a online guide (leveling gold ETC) are all aloud. But online gold selling/account trading is bannable

no one i know has. im sure people may have been banned for trying. plus there isnt any way to translate it anyways. my fiance and i did an experiment. i made a horde, he made an ally, and we ran our ***** to a neutral town. i typed all the letters of the alphabet at him. he wrote down what they came up as. then he typed all the letters at me, i wrote down what they came up as. none of them matched, and some letters didnt exist in the horde alphabet, and there was more than one letter that came up as a j or a z.

then we started adding more letters. id type AS to him, and it would come up as JZ or something. then i would type ASH and rather than coming up as JZ then a third letter it would come up as KAJ or something. so every time you ad a letter, the combination of letters changes. once you reach a certain point (i think it was anything longer than ten letters) it automaticly puts in a random default combo. so you could type in two completly differant ten letter words, and they would come up as the same thing.

the only way to translate from horde to ally or vise versa is to use a really annoying method of typing like, two letters, a space, another letter, a space, and so on, and even that can only be used for short phrases of like, two words
