1: I want tο mаkе a dps character аnd wаѕ thinking οf еіthеr a mage οr warlock. I want a caster whο саn dο grеаt dps аnd аlѕο maybe rυn ѕοmе low-level guild members through dungeons. Whісh іѕ better? (PvP isn’t іmрοrtаnt)
2: Shουld I gο Alliance οr Horde? I lіkе both, аnd аll οf mу friends hаνе quit, ѕο I don’t hаνе a reason tο pick one οr thе οthеr. I know thаt Alliance races hаνе better PvE racials, bυt horde hаѕ more mature players.
3: Whісh rасе іѕ best fοr thе faction аnd class уου сhοѕе?

1. Warlock will hit 80 much faster, however mages are more DPS in raids.
2. Alliance in general have more people raiding, and are better at it. The whole Horde is more mature is starting to due thanks to Blood Elves, and DK’s.
3. I would say gnome warlock, they get a bonus to int.

IMO go human mage. Mages, i think, is the better option than a warlock. Mages level faster and when it comes to running friends through dungeons, mages, good mages, can do so easily. When it comes to PvP, mages are amazing for arenas and wsg/ab/etc. Go human because of their racials when it comes to PvP. Although, if you go horde, then you should go undead mage, but I’m an alliance player

1. I would suggest a mage, they’ve got better DPS raid-wise.
2. It’s up to you. The whole “Horde is more mature” thing is a complete and utter lie. All servers and both factions have good players and complete jerks.
I have 80’s in both factions and from experience I’ve noticed that the Alliance tends to be more PvE oriented, while the Horde leans towards PvP. (I’m not saying that there’s no such thing as a good Hordeside raiding guild, and the Alliance doesn’t PvP)
3. Again, this is up to you. If you decide to roll Alliance, the Gnome has a decent 5% intellect increase, but obviously, don’t feel pressured into picking a gnome just because of the racial. (I would never play a gnome, lmao)

If you want a DPS caster that is good for running low level guild members through dungeons get a shadow priest, druid, or shaman. Nothing ***** more than getting 3/4 of the way through wailing caverns and your guildie dies and has to run the whole way through again because you can’t rez him. Of the 3 mentioned above the Druid is probably the best for this because a Boomkins typhoon and hurricane are great for clearing mobs, as is bear/cat swipe.
